Wichita Falls, Texas - July 15, 2020 - man with history of domestic violence charged with bestiality and indecency with a child. Matthew Miser, 23 has a troubled past. Shortlty after his 18th birthday in 2015, he stole some property worth less than $500; those charges were dismissed. A couple months later he broke into a home but adjudiction was deferred (meaning charges could be dismissed if he stayed out of trouble). He managed to do that until 2017 when he violated a restraining order - so now he has escalated from petty theft to interpersonal violence. In 2018 Miser was again arrested for theft and home burglary (two separate incidents), and in 2019 he was arrested for drug possession. In July of 2020 he beat a dog so severely it later died, and the next month he choked his girlfriend and tried to steal her car. A few days later he was arrested on two open warrants and charged with bestiality and indecency with a child.
2019, Feb-May - Canberra, Australia: Jeffrey David Lee, 48 was sentenced to 15 years in prison for murder plus 13 years for committing a string of crimes. In 2011 he began an abusive and sexual relationship with a 15 year-old girl that lasted for about two years. During that time, he plunged a fishing spear into her arm and then refused to take her to the hospital; used a knife to try and remove a tattoo on her leg; had sex with her on webcam; took naked photos of her and distributed them on the internet; gave her meth; convinced her to have sex with a dog he had access to; and at least once enabled the dog to have sex with her while she was unconsious. In 2015 he stole $53,000 in cash from his mother and got into a deadly fight with his stepfather, killing him with multiple blows to the head. At some point he met Mark Zonnevald, 47 online and the two began chatting about cross-dressing, exchanging porn - including bestiality selfies - and their plans to commit bestiality. Zonneveld received 2 years’ probation for conspiracy to commit bestiality.
2018, Nov. OREGON, USA -Fidel Lopez, 52 was arrested for raping his fiancee's dog. The dog's injuries were significant enough to require euthanasia. Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Angel Lopez sentenced Lopez (no relation) to 60 days in jail and 36 months of probation.
As part of Lopez' probation, he may not have contact with either the dog or her owner, and must undergo evaluation and any recommended treatment to prevent future animal abuse, domestic violence, or substance abuse. Deputy District Attorney Nicole Jergovic stated that "This case was prosecuted to the fullest extent possible under Oregon law." During sentencing, Judge Lopez told the offender, "If it could have been more, I would have gladly given you more."
Immigrations and Customs officials say that Lopez is in the country illegally and will be taken to the detention center in Tacoma for his immigration hearing.
